On the occasion of completing 60 years of National Book Trust, a two-day National Seminar on "Understanding the Nationality in Indian Literature" was inaugurated at the India International Centre, New Delhi. In the seminar, Dr. Krishna Gopal, the Sah-Sarkaryavah of the RSS, Smt. Mridula Sinha, Governor of Goa, Dr. Baldev Bhai Sharma, President of Trust, Vice Chancellor of Dharmeshala Himachal Pradesh, Dr. Kuldeep Chandra Agnihotri held their views in the inaugural session on the subject. HRD Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar has given a talk in the seminar by video message.
Dr. Krishna Gopal said that India has a special meditation style, nature of India has both - the geographical as well as spiritual nature. The Liberators have played an important role in India, giving priority to the country in their literature rather than province. The “Vanade-Matram” from “Anandamatha”, which developed the patriotism, became a mantra of entire India. Feeling it, the Krantikari accepted happily - without a sign of pain on their face – to be hanged over subversion. If there is no fundamental philosophy of India in the literary mind, its expression will remain incomplete. The literary interpreter of India expresses his literature culturally. The literature which has the capacity to connect everyone, in which there is love, sacrifice, compassion, spirituality, it is eternal. In the form of the words of Ramayana, Vedas, Upanishads, Jains Munis, compositions of the devotees of Bhaktikal, as the voice of Sikh Gurus, we have got such a literature that has kept India together, connected and united.
While delivering the inaugural speech, Dr Baldev Bhai Sharma said that on the auspicious occasion of completion of 60 years of national book trust, people of all resources donate books to the underprivileged children; books will be distributed by the National Book Trust, among those children. राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक न्यास के 60 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के अवसर पर "भारतीय साहित्य में राष्ट्रीयता का बोध" विषय पर दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय संगोष्ठी का नई दिल्ली स्थित इंडिया इंटरनेशनल सेंटर में शुभारम्भ हुआ. संगोष्ठी में राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सह सरकार्यवाह डॉ. कृष्ण गोपाल, गोवा की राज्यपाल श्रीमती मृदुला सिन्हा, न्यास के अध्यक्ष डॉ. बलदेव भाई शर्मा, धर्मशाला विश्वविद्यालय हिमाचल के कुलपति डॉ. कुलदीप चन्द्र अग्निहोत्री ने सम्बंधित विषय पर उद्घाटन सत्र में अपने विचार रखे. मानव संसाधन विकास मंत्री श्री प्रकाश जावडेकर ने विडियो सन्देश द्वारा संगोष्ठी में अपनी बात रखी.
डॉ. कृष्ण गोपाल ने कहा कि भारत की एक विशेष चिंतन की शैली है, भारत का स्वरुप भौगौलिक के साथ-साथ आध्यात्मिक भी है। साहित्यकारों ने भारत में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई है, अपने साहित्य में प्रांत कि बजाय देश को प्राथमिकता दी. देशभक्ति का भाव जगाने वाले आनंदमठ का वन्देमातरम् सम्पूर्ण भारत का मन्त्र बन गया जिसे गाकर क्रातिकारी देश के लिए हंसते-हंसते फांसी पर झूल गए. जब तक साहित्यकार के मन में भारत का मौलिक दर्शन नहीं है उसकी अभिव्यक्ति अधूरी रहेगी। भारत को समझने वाला साहित्यकार अपना साहित्य सांस्कृतिक रूप से अभिव्यक्त करता है. जो साहित्य सबको जोड़ने की क्षमता रखता है, जिसमें प्रेम है, त्याग, करुणा, अध्यात्म है वह चिरंतन चलता है। रामायण, वेद, उपनिषद, जैन मुनियों के ग्रन्थ, भक्तिकाल के कवियों की रचनाएं, सिख गुरुओं की वाणी के रूप में हमें ऐसा साहित्य मिला है, जिसने भारत को जोड़े रखा.
उदघाटन भाषण देते हुए डॉ. बलदेव भाई शर्मा ने बताया कि नेशनल बुक ट्रस्ट के 60 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के शुभ अवसर पर सभी साधन सम्पन्न लोग अभावग्रस्त बच्चों को पुस्तकें दान करें, नेशनल बुक ट्रस्ट द्वारा पुस्तकों का वितरण ऐसे बच्चों के बीच किया जाएगा जो इन्हें खरीदने में असमर्थ हैं. इसके लिए उन्होंने कार्यक्रम में आए प्रबुद्ध लोगों का आह्वान किया तथा सुझाव मांगे. उन्होंने इस अवसर पर कहा कि भारत ऋषि और कृषि का देश है, देश को जीवंत रखने के लिए साहित्य में देशभक्ति और अध्यात्म को हमें शामिल करने की आवश्यकता है. इसके लिए नेशनल बुक ट्रस्ट ने बच्चों के लिए वीरगाथा सिरीज शुरु की है, जिसमें राष्ट्र को प्रेरित करने वाले महापुरुषों के जीवन पर आधारित रचनाओं को प्रकाशित किया गया है.
कुलदीप चंद अग्निहोत्री ने कहा कि हृदय में जो स्पंदन है वही राष्ट्रीयता है। इतने सारे बाहरी आक्रमणों की बावजूद हमारा राष्ट्र और संस्कृति जीवित है इसका एक कारण हमारा साहित्य है. काव्य रूप में लिखे गए हमारे प्राचीन साहित्य जिसमें तीर्थ स्थानों सहित सभी क्षेत्रों का वर्णन है. ऐसे साहित्य से देश धार्मिक तथा सांस्कृतिक रूप एकजुट रहा. उत्तर भारत के लोगों का आवागमन तीर्थयात्रा के रूप में दक्षिण भारत में हुआ, दक्षिण भारत से उत्तर में, पश्चिम भारत से पूर्व में तथा पूर्व से पश्चिम भारत इसी तरह हजारों वर्षों से जुड़ा रहा है. इसलिए भारत की आत्मा अध्यात्म पर आधारित राष्ट्रीयता ही है. राष्ट्रीय पुस्तक न्यास इसी चेतना को जगाने का काम कर रहा है.
