Common man only can bring to nation its pristine glory : Bhagwat

Sarasanghachalak of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) Dr. Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday made a candid statement that only and only common man in this country can bring to the nation its pristine glory. He also said that the RSS has been striving to bring such a change in the society for past 88 years.

Dr. Bhagwat was addressing at the concluding ceremony of the ‘Sankalp Mahashivir’ of the Mahakoshal Prant of RSS, where over 100,000 RSS activists had gathered for 3 days. He said, Nations can not be built on behest of one person, or a political party or an organization. The nation needs a motivated, dedicated, organized society for that. The electrifying power of such an organized common man only can bring the desired change in the society. And that is the very reason why RSS has dedicated itself to the cause of organizing the society for last 88 years.

Dr. Bhagwat said that RSS has endured both, praise and brickbats, during all these years in pursuing its cause. He appealed the Swayamsevaks to accept the society as it is, i.e. irrespective of whether they get praise or the brickbat, as without doing so, it would be difficult to bring the desired changes in the society.

Dr. Bhagwat also appealed the people present at the occasion, that they too join the efforts of national revival. He said, only praising the RSS won’t work. Everybody who wants our society to be changes should start working towards the goal. Everybody should work according to individual taste but the efforts should be directed towards the one goal of national revival. Only such an action will see a strong, united nation. He added that the world at this stage needs such a united, strong India to lead it.

Dr. Bhagwat began his address by enumerating the challenges posed before the world. He also shed light on the thought process with which the RSS was formed. He said, patriots like Yogi Aurobindo,  Subhash Chandra Bose, V. D. Savarkar were all of the opinion that there are certain ills in our society which need to be done away with. That is why Dr. K. B. Hedgewar started RSS to unite our society.

RSS was started in 1925. The conditions had so deteriorated before that, that people were wary of calling themselves Hindu. The word Hindu had turned into a derogatory word. Today, the condition has improved a lot. A common man can hold his head high and proudly say that he is a Hindu. This is the outcome of the tireless efforts of numerous Swayamsevaks who worked in various fields of life all these years, Dr. Bhagwat said. 

 

“हमारी पहचान हिन्दू हैं. हम सब को जोडनेवाला तत्व हिंदुत्व हैं. हिंदुत्व हमारी राष्ट्रीयता हैं. विनाश की कगार पर पहुची आधुनिक दुनिया के समस्याओं के निराकरण का मार्ग हिंदुत्व हैं. प्रत्येक राष्ट्र के जीवन का प्रयोजन होता हैं. रोम और यूनान जैसे देशों का प्रयोजन तात्कालिक था इसलिए वह नष्ट हुए. किन्तु हिन्दू राष्ट्र यह अमर राष्ट्र हैं. यह कभी समाप्त नहीं होगा.”

उक्ताशय के उदगार राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवक संघ के सरसंघचालक डॉ. मोहन भागवत जी ने ‘संकल्प महाशिविर’ के समापन के अवसर पर व्यक्त किये. आपने आगे कहा की “संघ का मानना हैं की व्यक्ति के जीवन परिवर्तन से समाज के वातावरण में परिवर्तन होगा और इस परिवर्तन से राष्ट्र का पुनर्निर्माण होगा. सदाचरणी, सच्छील, निर्भय ऐसे गुणोंसे समाज में अच्छा वातावरण बनता हैं. और ऐसा वातावरण ही समाज में परिवर्तन लाता हैं. देश में परिवर्तन सामान्य जनता ही लाएगी. किन्तु उसके लिए जनता का मात्र सामान्य होना पूर्ण नहीं हैं. उसका गुणवान होना, सतचारित्र्य होना, संगठित होना अनिवार्य हैं.”

आपने कहा की “रोज निष्काम और निरपेक्ष भाव से देश की सेवा करने से ही हम बलशाली राष्ट्र, समर्थ राष्ट्र बन सकेंगे.”

इस समापन कार्यक्रम में निवर्तमान शंकराचार्य स्वामी सत्यमित्रानंद गिरी विशेष रूप में उपस्थित थे. कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए आपने कहा की, “हिन्दू समाज की यह विशेषता हैं, की हम किसी के प्रति विद्वेष की भावना नहीं रखते.” आपने आगे कहा की, “राजनैतिक चिन्तन को छोडकर राष्ट्रप्रेम निर्माण का कार्य करने की आवश्यकता हैं. जब प्रजातंत्र की परीक्षा का समय आता हैं, तब हम समुदायों में, जाती में बट जाते हैं. यह अब बदलना होगा.”

प्रारंभ में संघ के महाकोशल प्रान्त कार्यवाह डॉ. भरतशरण सिंह ने संकल्प शिविर का निवेदन प्रस्तुत किया तथा कार्यक्रम का संचालन किया. श्री दिग्विजय सिंह ने संकल्प महाशिविर के सभी सहयोगियों का आभार प्रदर्शित किया. डॉ. मोहन भागवत जी के उद्बोधन के पहले ‘आओ हम बदले वर्तमान..’ यह एकल गीत प्रस्तुत हुआ.

कार्यक्रम में गणवेशधारी स्वयंसेवकों ने सूर्यनमस्कार लगाये तथा घोष की धुन पर दंड के साथ व्यायामयोग प्रस्तुत किये. ‘पूर्ण विजय संकल्प हमारा, अनथक अविरल साधना..’ यह गीत सभी स्वयंसेवकों ने सामूहिक रूप से प्रस्तुत किया. प्रारंभ में सरसंघचालक जी ने जीप से स्वयंसेवकों की वाहिनियों में बनी रचना का निरिक्षण किया.

इस कार्यक्रम में बड़ी संख्या में प्रबुध्दजन, आम नागरिक, महिला आदि उपस्थित थे. इस कार्यक्रम की इन्टरनेट से सीधा प्रसारण किया गया, जिसे पूरी दुनिया से हजारो लोगों ने देखा.
